What’s Happening in the SNAD?
5K Trail Run & Walk – Supporting Native American Christian Academy
Our district is excited to support the 5K Trail Run & Walk benefiting Native American Christian Academy. This community event invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a morning of fitness, fellowship, and support for Christian education.
The race will begin and end at the school campus in Sun Valley, Arizona. Whether you run or walk, your participation helps encourage and support the ministry and work of Native American Christian Academy.
We invite churches, youth groups, families, and community members to come out and take part in this event.
Elevate
WHAT IS ELEVATE?
Elevate is the ultimate retreat! Over the course of the weekend, Nazarene students from the Southwest Field (California, Arizona, Southern Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii) come together not only to compete and play, but also worship and grow in Christ. Every day will be filled with fun activities for your youth group to play together (check out our "activities" and "competition" tabs for more), but every night we come together to worship and hear the word. Our hope is that students leave this weekend with not only some amazing memories of the fun, but a deeper relationship with Christ that can change the trajectory of their lives, their families, their churches, and their schools forever.
March 20th: Registration opens at 12:00 PM PST
May 4th: Final rosters due (all paperwork uploaded, etc.)
We would love to know which SNAD churches are planning to attend or participate. If your church or group plans to come, please let Danielle know so we can celebrate your involvement.
Our desire is simply to make sure you feel supported and represented across the district as we come alongside and encourage this event.

As the 2026 Global Week of Prayer approaches, NMI would like to invite the church to pray for the needs of our global churches and districts with requests from the regions.
This is the 30th year of the Global Week of Prayer, and we have some new and exciting resources to share with you!
May this week be a sacred time as we serve as the global missions advocate in every local church, nurturing a spirit of missions and mobilizing into action, impacting people around the world. Thank you for praying!
